well i dont see why that wont work on cable, but im guessing if u get 4 outlets on a cable in one house and u want to share them around they can only work on cable houses.

What I would be really interested in trying, would be to have someone come over to my place with a cable STB and subscriber card (I have one, but no subscriber card) and plug it in to my cable connection.
As you know I have a satellite feed but I'm trying to talk Foxtel into giving me a cable box on my satellite account so that I can get the channels 7 & 10 re transmissions.
Foxtel claim this scenario won't work but when I plug my cable STB in I get all the correct setup procedures and sounds just no pictures.
Can anyone help in the Werribee area?
