Hi

I am getting my daughter a DS for her birthday and was wondering what is the best way to play roms on it?

An R4 DS, DSTT, M3 Real, Edge DS or Acekard 2 will do what you want. All around the same price $35-$39. On top of that you'll need a microSD card to fit into the cartridge.
