help to UNLOCK a SE Z550i ...I would appreciate help to do this its for my son's mate and he is on a Vodaphone plan....

i thought vodafone unlocked their phones for free.

or do you mean you want it un-branded, firmware flashed etc?

apparently he has asked and was told it will cost $60 and he is just a student..so I was thinking that there is a web site where I could do it

i know vodaphone website used to have a page where you could go unlock your phone for free
ive done this in the past but havent been on that site in a long time
