3 can transfer your contacts
Hi,
i got a 3 phone yesterday and i am having some trouble transfering the contacts from my old phone to the new 3 phone. when i put the old 2g sim in my new 3 phone, it comes up with restricted zone and then when you press ok it asks for unlock code. so I rang 3 and the woman told me that any 3 store (not just a dealer like all phones) can copy the contacts and place them on the new phone. the saleswoman at the 3 dealer said they couldnt do anything.......??? i will go back to the store today and see what they say. |

snoop. you can transfer the contacts from old phone to new one.
well with nokia you can at least. you just select to move the numbers to the sim card and then put old sim in new phone and copy contacts to the phone memory. when you replace new sim card you just copy over to that. you can have a choice to use phone memory, sim memory or both. some of the 3 phones can now be unlocked and that is the way i did it. as i couldnt get the software to work with my old 7250i, it used to connnect fine through ir with my old laptop and i have used the cable before but it would just not find the usb connection....... bloody phones. |
