most of those questions are a matter of personal opinion.

apple just anounce a new phone/ipod.
www.apple.com/iphone

fill touch screen, looks awsome, the UI is revolutionary aswell. Things i worry about are battery life and cost.

to me the best phone in the world is my nokia 7250i

i know it is old i have had mine for 2.5 years but it has to be one of the most solidly built phone arround. the amount of times i have thrown it at the wall or concrete path, boat floor etc and it just keeps going and going is amazing.
