New Online Store Opening

Hi Guys,
I have been busy updating(creating) a new online store.
Check it out here:
MicksXboxMods Online Store

please let me know your thoughts. The template is a standard one and I plan to get a nicer one.

If there are any zencart gurus around I would like a template in same layout, but in a nicer colour(say gloss black)

Cheers
Mick

Re: New Online Store Opening

looks very nice mate.

in regards to the template, changing the green to gloss black would probably involve an image change, and maybe some css. im happy to have a look if you like

Re: New Online Store Opening

Awesome mate, that would be great.

I pretty much want to achieve similar colours to my website.

The white at the sides would look nice black and centre bit dark grey(same as Micksxboxmods Home )

I'm ok at HTML etc, but not real good at setting up zen cart tables.

btw Chris, did you notice the link down the bottom right hand nav bar???

Cheers
Mick

Re: New Online Store Opening

just noticed the link now. thanks mate.

should be able to get it to look pretty much the same as your current site, so it will be a seemless transition from site to store.
maybe you could even use the whole zencart interface as the actual site. you could move all the info into that system.

anyway, pm/email me the details and i will give some cutomizations a go tommorrow if i get some time away from all my uni assignments.
probably need an ftp account to get the template files, and a admin account for zencart.

Re: New Online Store Opening

coolies, I'll get it all setup and pm the details tomorrow mate.

I'm going to keep both as I have 100GB hosting...lol, I reckon I've got the room.

I just setup my son with a site of his own too --==Oz Consoles Australia==--
He wants to sell small console stuff and do simple mods, I've taught him a bit so he should be good to go(for a 13yo anyway)

Mick

Re: New Online Store Opening

I find the Oz Consoles near impossible to read.
I'm referring to the pic/link for it at your site, under the "Sponsors"
When I look at the Son's site, it's a bit easier to read, but still difficult.
Maybe it's an age thing, and older people like myself can't read/understand the graffiti type of style.

yeah I do too. I reckon when we set it up properly, I'll get him to redo to something a bit more easily read.

Was just to give him a bit of a buzz as he's never done anything like this before ;)

Its easily read here --==Oz Consoles Australia==-- but as I had to shrink it, it sorta killed it eh?

Cheers
Mick

i reckon they are both kinda hard to read, big and small. its readable, but not as easy as times new roman
