Topfield TF7010HT stb toslink issue

Tried to use the toslink optical out and the connection was very loose.
It pretty much falls out the back of the unit.
Anyone else experienced this?
Took it back to the shop and they checked another unit straight out of
the box - same problem. The unit does not have a co-ax optical out
It does have hdmi, but that doesn't help me.
Shame really, I was quite happy with the unit apart from this.

Blu-Tak to keep it from falling out

But seriously some you need to turn the connection and then it slots
in without being loose.

Make sure you use the current TomTom Australia support pages

http://www.itopfield.com.au/

Forums seem to be unavailable at the moment,

I used that to hold an optical cable in a Panasonic DVD/HDD unit when its opt.
out socket had a bit of plastic break off it.

Yep, had that too. Sometimes they need to be pushed firmly in til the go
"click".

Years ago when I first set up my AV receiver and a DVD player with an optical
lead I had all sorts of problems getting the lead to stay in the socket.

It was only later on when someone suggested taking the protective rubber plug
off the end and trying it again that I discovered my mistake...
