don't buy CONIA brand TV

I got one of their LCD tellies. It has video inputs:
composite, component, S-video, VGA what youse can select.
But guess what? There is only one pair of audio inputs!
How stupid and useless - you can only connect to one other device.
My ancient CRT idiot box has 3 "AV" inputs and each has audio sockets.

It makes a kind of sense. Where the video inputs are of different types,
the intent is clearly to provide compatability with a single external
video source that you own, regardless of the form taken by its video
output. Hence the single pair of audio inputs. If the intent were to
provide for connection to multiple external video sources, then there
would be multiple video sockets for *each* external source.

But your ancient CRT box probably only supports composite input. If you
want to connect a VGA output to it, you're stuck.

Sylvia.
