You are most welcome to disagree ~ I have no problem with that ~!
As more & more Plasmas & LCD TV's with integrated HD TV tuners are
sold
and more HD set-top boxes are sold, Australians will be demanding
more
alternative content on the HD channels.
Channel 10, so far, has the most identifiably different HD channel
with it's logos
& promos in particular.
Channel 9 say they will introduce an additional SD channel in 2009 ~
this can
only be a good thiing for Aussie viewers, the more FTA channels with
diiferent programming
to choose from, the merrier, as far as I'm concerned ~!
Obviously, as more alternative content is introduced in the not-too-
distant future, the score-cards
will also improve.
Channel 7 recently let it's viewers down, with it's appalling lack of
coverage during the Olympic
Games. Hopefully, whatever channel gets the rights to the London 2012
Olympics will be multi-channeling
24/7 by that time.
It's about time Australia caught up with the civilized world,
particularly the US and Canada as far as
FTA television choice is concerned, because we are well behind the 8-
ball at the moment ~!
