Didn't a footy player go the the sideline for a slash in a State of
Origin match back in the 80's? (May have been a regular game)

don mckinnon i think did it for north sydney, he squatted down in the
middle of nth sydney oval

Nah, he was standing up straight as I recall it. Dropped the old guy
out of the leg of his shorts and let 'er rip.

When ya gotta go, ya gotta go. He wasn't the first and he won't be
the last.

You're right, well, sort of.

Don McKinnon - correct.
North Sydney? Incorrect, was playing for Manly.
Nth Sydney oval? Incorrect, was at Lang Park.
Squatted down? Incorrect, was standing up.

Playing in a Maroon jumper at lang park, guess that's why i thought it
was SoO

From memory he was standing up and just pulled the leg of his shorts
aside and let the good times roll
