LG LH-T250SC region free?

Hi All,

I have a friend with one of these all-in-one players that is essentially
region locked. I have found some instructions using the remote but note
that this only works on older firmware versions (I assume his is the
newer firmware as it is only about 6 months old).

Just thought I'd post here in case somebody has been there and done that
with this particular machine.

Well, the hidden menu via remote did actually work despite firmware
revisions.

Just in case anyone else does a search for this issue:

1: Power up machine
2: Wait for 'No Disc'
3: Open tray
4: Press '0' four times
5: Press enter (I added this, without it it didnt work)
6: Press pause
7: Power off
