I prefer -RW discs as they are IMHO more easily editable, at least on my LG
DVD Recorder. Also, for instance, if there are say 3 titles on a disc,
deleting the first title does not free up extra space, as it does on a -RW
disc - deleting the last title does.
However, I have been using TDK discs, and none of my other machines,
including my LG Player! seems to like them, at least most of the time.
I was told by a LG technician that I should be using Sony discs, but they
seem to be unavailable in my area.

So reluctantly I am using +RW discs in my LG Recorder, so that if necessary
I can use any of them in my other units.
When I use a +RW disc in a Panasonic recorder I can only get 3 speeds to FF,
whereas a
-RW disc, when readable by the Panasonic, gives 5 speeds.

Finally, I would suggest you try both and see what you like best.

I used to be a -RW supporter as I found they were more compatible when
moving from machine to machine. I've switch to +RW though 'cause I
have found that to burn a single show or file off the PC to watch in
the lounge is MUCH quicker with +RW media .,.... I think it's because
it doesn't have to write the whole disk for a small file.
