I have these for sale in the trading Post. Yep No more eBay for me since the
Mandatory Paypal ..

Donnie Brasco

Columbo Season 4 .

I bought a 7 season boxset and there was 2 sets of season 4 and no season 5

Black folder type case . Can see the photo on the link ...

And a lot of good the Trading post has done you.

I get the following message from your links,

""Sorry, your session has been idle for an extended period of time.

For security reasons you have been automatically signed out of the Trading Post. ""

And for the record, Pay pal is not compulsory

Hi Bill,

I gather your thinking that I mentioned Paypal and it is not related
to Trading Post ... Since ebay have forced all sellers to use paypal I don't
sell on there anymore . I can use paypal with Trading Post but don't want to
cope the cost of it , and no buyer wants to either . Paypal are expensive to
use and takes away the bargain's that use to be ..

Cheers ...

That hasn't been confirmed yet. Sellers can still offer direct
deposit/money order payment options.

Agreed, that's why it's affectionately called PainPal. eBay are
parasitic leeches who now want to screw with people's funds.

Yes I have had other payment option but people use PayPal even when I
message them I prefer Bank Deposit .. I can not disable the paypal option in
my ad as I don't want anything to do with Paypal ... But yeah isn't worth
the anxiety ... I guess most people prefer to spend money they don't have on
credit card and paypal makes that easier then Bank Deposit ..

Actually it costs nothing, as far as the buyer is conserned, regardless of
whether he uses PP or DD, The process is the same, if it's done
electronically.
BUT there is no protection for the buyer using DD, as there is with PP.
Should the seller forget to forward the purchase, The record of payment is
held by PP, and they will do a follow-up, and attempt to communicate with
the seller for a resolution. OR issue a refund to the buyer, from the
sellers PP account. And providing you enact a claim the correct way, it
is a very good system.
And while we all know there are a lot of shonky buyers out there, at least
the seller still holds the Good's , unfortunately the reverse is also true,
except the buyer would be the loser, if not for PP.

Re: For Sale: Columbo Season 4 & Donnie Brasco

All I can say is I'm and was an honest seller in eBay and only a shonky
buyer would have problems with me . If they didn't receive it I would refund
and go after Aussie Post , I've never had a parcel go missing or damaged and
now with Paypal more sellers are getting burnt because some buyers rip them
off ... But yeah will never have Paypal as a payment option as their not
consistent with their ruling .. Nor am I interested in any buyers that only
want's to use Paypal , they have a choice not to bid and that's fine , there
are many out there too that don't want to sign up to paypal .. Anyway that
is a whole nother topic as you've probably seen at eBay Discussion Board ...

Trading Post is Free to List at the moment and only pay when you sell ...
More money in my pocket and not in Feebay or PaymePal.

That's precisely why I will not use it. I also abhor the fact that
eBay can have access to a sellers bank account and effectively lock it
out in the event of a PP dispute. Their is just too much potential for
misuse and fraud with PayPal it makes a mockery of its alleged safety.
It's just a money grabbing front created by eBay to maximise their
already massive profits.
