not seem to be getting anywhere with
this.

If your server does not give you access, simply go to "google Groups" and
type in "aus DVD' or use this link,
http://groups.google.com/group/aus.d...rch+this+group

Testing.
A post I made doesn't show on another news server, so I don't know
if what I post gets through to here.

Why do people ask this question every month ? The fact is that Usenet
newsgroups are dying and being replaced by inferior web forums.
Nothing to with DVD per se.

As for Blu-ray, it's nowhere near as popular as people claim. It's
overpriced, offers minimal gain over DVD-video and its barriers to
entry are quite high (one has to factor in a HDTV).

Or just go to www.Usenet.com.au and use aus.dvd there. Google is evil!
Seems to work great for me now.

I only use Google for newsgroup readings -- it seems to pick up
everything I want to access, which are mostly DVD news and home coffee-
roasting forums!

Why is google EVIL, It's simply a Search engine, a tool for locating
information, which it does extremely well.

Well said. Google's growth simply reflects a job well done.
