36 cylinders, 72 spark plugs, 6,544 cubic inches.
Bristol's "Twin-coupled Centuarus".
There were also some interesting twin plug tank engines in the second
world war that had 30 cylinders (in five banks of 6) and 60 spark
plugs. One example would be the Chrysler A57 multi-bank twin-plug.
But production versions were single plug engines.
Or you could try 18 cylinders, 36 pistons and no spark plugs - Napier
Deltic 2 stroke diesel.....
