New Heavy Vehicle log book ... Err... Travel Diary

Got mine today
twice the size of the old log books
for the average dumb truck driver it would look a bit confusing
but if they read and understood the new legislation then it should be a
snap to fill out

I'm lucky in that I don't have to worry about Fatigue Management regs
since we only do an 11 hour work day(12 hours with rest breaks) by
worldwide Company policy

the Fatigue Management regs get a bit confusing with the "Long Hours"
and the different stages of Fatigue Management

QLD didn't have the new log books until the 29th of Sept and are giving
QLD drivers until the end of Dec to change over
problem is
if you drive into NSW or Vic you need to be using them from this week
since I do go into NSW I had to buy a new book

HMM
time to take traffic regs away from the states

in europe they have the electronic devices which make it easier for
everyone.

however the truckies don't want them over here, as it would have a
large impact on their ability to cheat

A lot needs to be taken away from the states. Not just traffic regs...

Australia is the most overgoverned and overtaxed country,
we could do it quite easy without State Governments
the same laws would cover every state and territory
traffic laws would be uniform from coast to coast with no confusion as to
weight limits, driving times, log books etc.
After all, they did take the border control gates down years ago and you
don't have to have an entry permit and visa to go from Cairns to Perth.
It is one country

Ozwald, for the amount of time you spent trying to desperately google
up some facts to support your bullshit, this is a remarkably poor
offering - did I metnion "even for you"?

Nah, IU'll accept the figures gratefully as the lead column deals only
with income tax, although GST/VAT rates are mentioned further across ,
as a measure of the total tax burden it's about as much use as anyh
other of your fanciful pieces of bullshit you try and serve up. In
fact, all it really proves is that you don't have the intelligence to
read past your Google search terms to see if the data your are peddling
even matches the stupid argument you are trying to run.

Actually "unreliable and full of bullshit" is you Qzwald - to a tee.

A measure of income tax only, and therefore as much use as your claims
to aircraft ownership.

A measure of corporate tax rate of developed economies, positioning
Australia at number 11. You did read this after Google found it didn't
you?

And in the unlikely event that you did - it helps your argument how?

Claims to be a measure of "tax burden" and only quotes income tax
rates. You did read it didn't you?

Do you have any brains at all? Don't answer that, it is obvious you do
not.

Gee, relatvie sizes of public sector agencies.

That is a measure of tax rate exactly how?

If I was going to bother, I'd have to do it from scratch as you have
supplied precisely nothing as usual.

No you didn't, but thanks for proving yet again that you are a first
class case for post-natal abortion.

You useless, lying, google dependant fool that you are.

Ahhhh the cocksucker lives up to my expectations....
Refutes anyhing I put forward...maintains that

"Australia is THE most overgoverned and overtaxed country,"

And offer not a shred of evidence to support that absurd proposition.

When you get out of the toilet after wanking yourself over your
percieved victory.....then the balls in your court arsehole Show me
why
"Australia is THE most overgoverned and overtaxed country,"

Till you do, you remain yet another of the cockspankers of aus.cars!

This paper is only for the amount of Government employment in the particular
countries,

There are too many politicians and political departments in relation to the
population

And, I would guess, that there are plenty of retired politicians still on
the taxpayers payroll.
