Excellent only if your a complete tosser like the the average
mitsubishi LOOSER driver.

Mitsubishi = bought by people on price who are not car people and just
need an appliance.
Sad really....

Sure is.......an excellent piece of CRAP!!

2006 Mitsubishi Outlander GLS review

"Definite no no"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Passenger mirror would vibrate at 120km/h repaired under warranty.

Vehicle pulls to right repaired under warranty, but still pulls to right.

Terrible whining noise from engine I was told this is normal. is it?

Heavy on fuel.
General comments?

The drive and performance of vehicle is OK.

The seats are soft and comfortable.

I enjoy the sunroof.

Engine is very noisy.

The whining noise from engine especially at low speeds is very
irritating. I am seriously thinking of taking a loss and trading it.

I think overall it is over priced and not up to standard.

I know it's a troll from the OP but I had the misfortune of driving a 4
cylinder Outlander from Albury to Falls Creek for a snowboarding trip last
week. Well actually after I drove it from the airport to the city centre I
handed over to my mate to drive it as he seemed keen and I wasn't any more
:-). What a slug, overtaking anything on the flat required a run-up and a
cut lunch. The air con was incapable of de-fogging the windscreen in any
mode - hot, cold, full fan, etc. Not the end of the world I suppose but
dangerous in wintery conditions like we had where you want that windscreen
clear in a few seconds which any other car i've owned/driven was achieved
easily using the air con.

Anyone driven the V6 variant and found it to be better?

Cheers
LT.

Where on Earth did they get that name from?...
It always looks like a misspelling of outlandish!

Do you mean the Subaru Legacy Touring Bruce (a Japanese version of the
Outback)?
(Google might help those who don't get it.)
