Video: Longest, Fastest Car-Wash in Germany
Added the following to my album on Vimeo yesterday:
Longest, Fastest Car-Wash in Germany
The Autobahn pre-wash cycle begins in Remagen at about 9 a.m.
Then the heavy wash cycle comes in as we drive past Limburg
and Bad Camberg, heading past Frankfurt.
A drying cycle starts as we pass Würzburg, approaching
Munich often at drying speeds of between 130 and 190 km/h.
After crossing the Danube, we spin around Munich itself and
head past the beer fields towards our next base in Grafing,
arriving before 5 p.m.
After settling in, the washing machine starts up again with
noisy mechanical agitation on the parked car.
Next time, I'll take along some suds for a proper wash.
The video was shot in June, 2007.
